I enjoyed a Thai dinner tonight with four lovely ladies from Tulsa. They have each been deployed to OKC for about a week now. Boy do they have some stories to tell! This meal became a bit of a decompression time as two in the group had spent the day out distributing food/drinks/snacks to devastated residents in the El Reno community. Tears were shed.
I think Heather, on the far left, summed it up best when she said, “You don’t know to appreciate the fridge door that you can open, just to open, until you don’t have a fridge door to open.”
